The 12th International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition (SNEC PV POWER EXPO) will be held in Shanghai, China, from May 28 to 30, 2018. It was initiated by the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA), Chinese Renewable Energy Society (CRES), Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association (CREIA), Shanghai Federation of Economic Organizations (SFEO), Shanghai Science & Technology Development and Exchange Center (SSTDEC), Shanghai New Energy Industry Association (SNEIA), and jointly organized by 19 international associations and organizations, including the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). 

The exhibition scale of SNEC has evolved from 15,000 sqm in 2007 to over 180,000 sqm in 2017, when it attracted more than 1,800 exhibiting companies from 95 countries and regions worldwide. The ratio of overseas exhibitors was over 30%. SNEC has become the largest international PV trade show, with unparalleled influence in China, Asia, and worldwide.

SNEC PV POWER EXPO is a globally acknowledged, Asia, and even the world's largest PV show focusing on the whole industry chain. SNEC (2016) PV POWER EXPO, which ended successfully on May 26th, 2016, attracted over 1,500 exhibitors with 160,000 sq. meters of space and some 220,000 visits.
