Bau Ngu Lake Solar Power Project is built on an area of 75 hectares, located in the Bau Ngu lake bed area of Phuoc Hai commune, Ninh Phuoc district and Phuoc Dinh commune, Phuoc Nam, Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province. The project started construction in March 2018 and officially connected to the national grid in June 2019, with a capacity of 62.5MWp and a total investment of over 1,500 billion VND. When put into operation, the Bau Ngu Lake solar power plant will provide nearly 100 million kWh/year of electricity to the national grid. At the same time, it helps reduce CO2 emissions into the environment by about 28,000 tons/year.
