To regain its top-ranked status in Vietnam, UNIS (United Nations International School) plans to renovate its existing infrastructure and expand the campus by constructing new facilities, aiming to achieve excellence in educational environment, sports competition, and children’s well-being. The cooling systems on campus need to be upgraded to increase energy efficiency through a centralized system. Indoor air quality will be constantly measured using CO2 sensors and assessed with air handling units equipped with filters to cope with Hanoi's high levels of pollution. The facades are redesigned to enhance natural lighting and are efficiently shaded to avoid direct solar radiation.
