In 2010, the Brazilian company Industria de Cimentos do Conde Ltd. invested in a new, complete cement plant, the Elizabeth Cement Plant, capable of producing 2,500 tons of cement per day. The delivery of services and equipment effectively started in 2011, and commissioning was completed by summer 2014.
